Chicago Park District announces online registration for 2025 summer programs and day camps
Rosa Escareño, General Superintendent & Chief Executive Officer | Chicago Park District

It’s approaching summertime, and the Chicago Park District has announced the opening dates for online registration of its Summer Programs and Day Camps. A variety of activities will be available for children, teens, adults, and seniors, focusing on a wide range of interests from sports to arts.

The Chicago Park District is offering a 6-week Summer Day Camp for children aged 6-12, emphasizing activities such as sports, fitness, nature exploration, and arts. Simultaneously, a range of programs will be open to all ages, including teen water polo clubs, senior walking clubs, and photography classes.

To prepare for registration, the District recommends patrons utilize a pre-registration checklist and create a wish list of preferred programs. Online registration for parks west of California Ave. will open on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., and for parks east of California Ave., on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at the same time.

The Summer Day Camp will run from June 23, 2025, to August 1, 2025. The broader Summer Programs session will begin on June 16, 2025, extending to August 10, 2025. Details about camp registration and program options are available on the Chicago Park District's website.

The District highlights the affordability of its programs and promises financial assistance for families unable to afford the full cost, emphasizing that "no child will be turned away for inability to pay." Some camps are offered free of charge.

For more information on specific programs and financial aid, patrons are directed to the District's website.
