Chicago Public Library invites teens to apply for summer internships
Chris Brown Commissioner | Chicago Public Library

Teens seeking summer jobs can apply for paid internships at the Chicago Public Library (CPL) through the One Summer Chicago program. The library offers various positions to high school students or recent graduates between the ages of 16 and 19.

Internships through After School Matters will run from June 23 to July 31. During this period, interns are expected to work 20 hours per week. After completing the initial profile on One Summer Chicago, applicants will be redirected to the After School Matters website for more information about the available roles at CPL.

To find these positions, applicants should search for the keyword "library" on the After School Matters site to explore opportunities at various CPL locations.

Applicants called for interviews are encouraged to prepare ahead by consulting interview guidebooks and utilizing resume resources available at the library.
