When the United Church of Christ (UCC) gathers in Kansas City from July 11-15 for General Synod 35, various sponsors will have contributed significantly to the event. The gathering will include worship, youth activities, and discussions on pressing issues.
The five UCC financial ministries are major contributors, pledging $65,000. These ministries include the Church Building & Loan Fund, Cornerstone Fund, Insurance Board, Pension Boards, and United Church Funds. They aim to support churches through resources and services as they embrace this year's theme: "Into the Deep."
Representatives from these financial ministries will attend Synod with exhibits and learning opportunities available for attendees to explore their offerings.
Michelle Carver, director of philanthropy for the UCC National Ministries stated: “We are grateful to our partners and champions for their continued commitment to the United Church of Christ. Sponsor funding for General Synod is an important supporting component to offering this extraordinary and inspiring event.” She added that there is excitement about engaging with participants as they explore "Into the Deep" together.
Additional sponsors include:

- Affiliated UCC seminaries contributing $3,000
- Bronze Sponsor ($2,500): The Rev. Dr. Ron Patterson and Ms. Charnley Marsden
