The Park District is progressing with the improvements at Winnemac Park. Electrical service coordination for the new field lights is underway, which precedes the final grading at the construction site. The installation of various facilities, including a new artificial turf infield, benches, backstops, batting cage, scoreboard, bleachers, and sidewalks has been completed. Further landscaping efforts are scheduled for later this summer to prepare for an opening in late summer or early fall. Updates will be provided regularly.
