This summer, the Chicago Public Library (CPL) invites the community to join in a variety of activities designed to engage and entertain all age groups. Participants can expect to explore new books, try out fun activities, and discover their rhythm through music, dance, and song.
The program offers specific events for children, teenagers, and adults. For children aged 0 to 13 and their families, CPL is hosting a series of reading and creative activities. Families are encouraged to register and enjoy these summer offerings together. Additionally, there will be materials available in Spanish for young readers.
Teenagers have the opportunity to participate by completing activities listed on this summer's Pick 4 card. Completing four activities grants them an entry into a raffle with the chance to win prizes at the end of the summer.
Adults are invited to attend the Go Green Fair on June 25 as part of CPL's adult programming. They can also visit any CPL location to pick up a reading challenge board.
Citywide events will cater to people of all ages throughout the summer months.
"Este verano, cantaremos, bailaremos y haremos música en Chicago Public Library," said a CPL representative. "Participa con nosotros para explorar libros nuevos, probar actividades divertidas y encontrar tu ritmo."
