Nearly 2,000 members and friends of the United Church of Christ have gathered in Kansas City. The event is taking place at the Kansas City Convention Center, featuring speeches, discussions, and demonstrations of faith.
Other settings of the UCC are engaging with news accounts and video as the church explores "The Deep." Messages have been sent to Kansas City expressing appreciation and noting church "watch parties" for this General Synod.
Participants are encouraged to share photos, video clips, and reflections on their experiences with the News Team. These may be shared in news feeds or on social media. Contributions can be sent to newsteam@ucc.org.
