Leslie McKinily, Chief Early Childhood Education Officer at Chicago Public Schools (CPS), will host an informational session for families with children entering CPS Pre-K programs this fall. The event is scheduled for August 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
During the session, families can learn about what to expect in CPS Pre-K classrooms, ask questions, and receive advice on preparing their children for the first day of school. "Join Leslie McKinily, Chief Early Childhood Education Officer at CPS, to learn more about CPS Pre-K classrooms, ask questions, and get tips on how to prepare your child for a successful first day of school," the announcement states.
The session aims to help parents and guardians better understand early childhood education offerings within CPS.
