The Chicago Public Library will participate in the upcoming Sundays on State street festival this fall. The event, organized by the Chicago Loop Alliance, is scheduled for Sunday, September 7 and Sunday, October 5, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. It will take place along State Street between Randolph and Jackson.
Sundays on State is a free event that turns a section of downtown Chicago into a pedestrian-only area with live performances, interactive art installations, local vendors, and activities for families. According to organizers, the festival has attracted more than one million visitors since its inception and aims to bring together different communities while supporting businesses in the area. More information about the event can be found at https://loopchicago.com/events/sundays-on-state/.
The library invites attendees to stop by their booth during both dates to learn about programs and services, take part in family-friendly activities, receive free giveaways while supplies last, and speak with staff members.
"Whether you're a regular library user or just getting to know CPL, we look forward to seeing you," said representatives from the Chicago Public Library.
