A community event aimed at informing families about their rights will take place on Tuesday, September 9, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The session will be conducted in Spanish and is organized in response to recent developments affecting local communities.
Elected leaders are coordinating efforts to ensure that parents and teachers receive relevant information regarding their rights. "With recent developments impacting our communities, elected leaders are working together to ensure families are informed about their rights. We want to make sure parents and teachers have access to this important information," organizers stated.
Community members are encouraged to share details of the event with parents and school staff. Those interested in attending can RSVP at bit.ly/CIRRKYR or by calling 773-395-0143.
Printed fliers are available for distribution upon request, and organizers offer to deliver them directly to schools. "Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting and uplifting our families. Please let me know if you have any questions," the statement added.
