McGaw YMCA is seeking applicants for a variety of positions at its Camp Echo in Fremont, Michigan for the upcoming summer season. The organization is encouraging young adults interested in community building and leadership development to apply for roles ranging from camp counselors to program specialists in areas such as water sports and horseback riding, as well as support staff positions.
There are also limited Junior Staff (J-Staff) positions available for high school juniors. These roles are designed to provide experience, mentorship, and opportunities to develop leadership skills.
Application consideration priority dates have been set for several positions: December 1 for Unit Leaders, Lead Cooks, Food Service Operations Specialist, and the first round of Junior Staff; January 1 for Specialists, Health Officers, Directors in Residence, and the second round of Junior Staff; February 1 for Program Staff, Kitchen Staff, and Family Camp Staff. Applicants who submit after these dates will be considered on a rolling basis depending on availability.
All qualified candidates will participate in interviews and reference checks during the hiring process.
