Belmont Village Senior Living has opened a sales center for its new Rancho Santa Fe community, located at 16202 Sunny Summit Drive. The center is now accepting reservations from prospective residents interested in the luxury senior living facility, which is scheduled to open in late 2026.
The new development will be situated within The Lakes at Rancho Santa Fe, offering 185 residences that include studios and two-bedroom casitas. Amenities planned for the three-story property include a fitness center with indoor and outdoor access, a heated swimming pool, signature dining options, social spaces, an art studio, sports lounge, screening room, full-service salon, as well as outdoor features such as walking paths, green spaces, a dog park, bocce ball court and putting green.
This project marks Belmont Village’s 17th community in California and its fourth in San Diego. It is also the company’s second collaboration with Greystar Real Estate Partners. Patricia Will, Founder and CEO of Belmont Village Senior Living and a resident of Rancho Santa Fe herself, commented on the approach taken for this location: “When envisioning Belmont Village Rancho Santa Fe, it was important to me that we design a place that reflects the beauty, values, and lifestyle that make Rancho Santa Fe so special,” said Will. “From the architecture to the interior spaces, every detail was thoughtfully planned to complement the character of this remarkable place I’m proud to call home.”
The facility will provide independent living, assisted living and memory care services through evidence-based programs designed to support aging residents. Staff will include specially trained professionals and onsite nurses available around-the-clock. The building will be licensed for high-level care throughout all units so couples with different needs can remain together.
Residents will lease their homes on a monthly rental basis rather than purchase them outright.
In addition to its wellness programs and amenities, Belmont Village Rancho Santa Fe has formed a partnership with the UCSD Center for Healthy Aging to give residents access to research initiatives focused on healthy aging.
“Just as we’ve focused on creating an elegant and thoughtfully designed environment, we’re equally committed to delivering the first-class care and hospitality that Belmont Village is known for,” Will added. “Our goal is to blend exceptional architecture with personalized service, enriching experiences, and compassionate support—ensuring that every resident feels truly at home, cared for, and inspired.”
