Library patrons invited to discuss safety in upcoming focus groups
Chris Brown Commissioner | Chicago Public Library

NAMI Chicago is collaborating with the Chicago Public Library to conduct a focus group aimed at gathering feedback from library patrons regarding safety within library spaces. The initiative seeks to incorporate public insights to enhance the safety of these environments.

The focus group sessions will last 90 minutes and are scheduled on several dates. Participants can attend in person or virtually, with options available at different regional libraries across Chicago.

The sessions are set for February 13th at Woodson Regional Library, February 18th via Zoom, February 27th at Legler Regional Library, and February 28th at Sulzer Regional Library. Each session is designed to accommodate a variety of schedules, offering both afternoon and morning times.

Interested individuals are encouraged to register for the session that best fits their schedule. This opportunity allows patrons to voice their experiences and contribute to shaping safer library spaces.
