Computer assistance is now available through CyberNavigator technology tutors at various locations across the city. These tutors provide one-on-one sessions, which can be scheduled by appointment and last up to an hour.
CyberNavigators assist in several areas, including computer basics, email, internet basics with a focus on search and security, online forms and applications, document creation, eBooks, and other digital content. They utilize Chicago DigitalLearn as a teaching resource, offering over 25 short interactive videos in both English and Spanish.
This initiative is supported by grants from the Chicago Public Library Foundation. Residents are encouraged to enhance their digital skills by booking an appointment with a CyberNavigator at any of the listed locations. It is recommended to call ahead to confirm availability and schedule appointments.
