Belmont Village Senior Living leader wins TALA award for excellence in senior care

Agnieszka Stanek, Director of Resident Care at Belmont Village West University, has been awarded the Texas Assisted Living Association (TALA) HERO Award for Nursing Excellence. Belmont Village Senior Living, a prominent organization in senior living communities, announced this recognition for Stanek's dedication to senior care.

Belmont Village CEO and Founder, Patricia Will, commented, “At Belmont Village, our team members are the heart of everything we do, providing not just care, but compassion and connection to our residents. Stanek was one of 14 winners among more than 160 nominations at the 2025 TALA Conference & Expo HERO Awards, hosted at Kalahari Resorts from April 2-4. The HERO awards aim to celebrate individuals making significant contributions to the senior living community across ten categories.

Stanek has spent over a decade providing care at Belmont Village. She started her career as a charge nurse at Belmont Village Geneva Road in Chicago and later became the Director of Resident Care at the West University community in Houston. Her efforts have earned her respect from residents and colleagues alike. Known for her clinical skills and compassionate demeanor, Stanek consistently goes above and beyond in her role, forming strong relationships with both families and team members.
